Your beneficiaries never need a seed phrase, a hardware wallet, or your passwords. You name them in your Onramp account, and after your passing, Onramp verifies it and transfers your bitcoin to them according to your plan.
You set up your plan: in Settings, under Inheritance Planning, add primary and contingent beneficiaries, set each one's percentage, and sign the Transfer on Death agreement. You can name a trust or entity as a beneficiary.
Your beneficiaries notify Onramp within 90 days, with a certified death certificate.
They complete Onramp's standard onboarding, including identity verification.
Onramp distributes your bitcoin according to your Transfer on Death agreement.
