Good to know

  • Limit orders are good ’til cancelled. Limit orders remain open until they are filled or manually cancelled.

  • Execution is not guaranteed. Market conditions (including price gaps, insufficient liquidity, or trading halts) may prevent your order from filling, in whole or in part.

  • Partial fills are possible. If there isn’t enough liquidity at your limit price, part of your order may execute and the remainder stays open until it fills, is cancelled, or expires.

  • Purchased bitcoin is held in your BitGo-custodied Trade Wallet, which is separate from your Multi-Institution Custody (MIC) vault. If you have a MIC vault, you can choose to settle your purchase there. See How do I choose where my trade settles? for how it works.
