Getting started with Onramp is simple and secure. To begin, visit onrampbitcoin.com and click Sign up. You’ll be asked what type of account you’re opening.
Individual accounts
You’ll complete our self-service signup in three steps:
Enter your email address.
Verify your email.
Complete identity (KYC) verification.
Once you’re verified, you’ll go straight to your dashboard. From there you can explore everything Onramp offers, including Multi-Institution Custody, Trade, Earn, and Lending, and activate each product whenever you’re ready.
Business and trust accounts
These accounts involve more complex structures and compliance requirements, so you’ll be asked to schedule a consultation with a member of our onboarding team. We’ll walk you through each step, help with documentation, and set up the account to fit your needs.
IRA accounts
To open a Bitcoin IRA, first create an individual account using the steps above. Then schedule a consultation with our team to add an IRA to it.
Is there a cost to sign up?
No. Creating an Onramp account is free. You’ll only pay fees for the products you choose to activate. See fees for Multi-Institution Custody, Trade, and Earn.
